Add/Edit an IOP Testing Template
A new IOP Testing Template must be created to assign to a new module. IOP Testing Templates can be used across multiple modules, allowing for testing consistency across regions.
Edit an existing IOP Testing Template
- From the IOP Dashboard, select IOP Testing.
- Select IOP Testing Templates.
- Select the desired IOP Testing Template in the list.
- Expand each Parent step to view all sub-steps.
- Turn ON/OFF as desired.
- Click Save & Close when completed.
Add an IOP Testing Template from and existing Testing Template
NOTE: In most instances, this is the most efficient creation method
- From the IOP Dashboard, select IOP Testing.
- Select IOP Testing Templates.
- Select the desired IOP Testing Template (likely the template from the last year's module).
- Select Save as Copy from the top right.
- Enter the new IOP Testing Template Name (the naming convention is "Module - {Our Module Name}").
- Select OK. This will allow all test step ON/OFF settings to be copied over to the new module.
- Expand each Parent step to view all sub-steps. This is only necessary for any deviations from last year's module.
- Turn ON/OFF as desired.
- Select Save & Close when completed.
Add a new IOP Testing Template from scratch
- From the IOP Dashboard, select IOP Testing.
- Select IOP Testing Templates.
- Select New from the top right.
- Enter an IOP Testing Template Name (the naming convention is "Module - {Our Module Name}").
- Expand all Parent steps to view all sub-steps.
- Turn ON/OFF as desired.
- Select Save & Close when completed.
Functionality of the IOP Testing Template
- Clicking inside the parent step box will expand it to see all levels of the sub-steps.
- Clicking on the name of the text of any step will toggle the switch.
- Turning ON/OFF the parent step does NOT turn ON or OFF the sub-steps.
- The parent step must be turned ON for any sub-steps to show.
- Note the [Check All] and [Uncheck All] options at the top right of each parent step. These can be used to turn all within that parent step ON/OFF. It is recommended to expand the parent step before using this tool.
After this is completed, now the module can be created using How To: Create a New Module.
