Copying Device Testing Results
There are 3 ways to copy device testing results.
- Copy from one carrier (region) to another carrier (region)
- Copy from one module to another module
- Copy from one device software version to another device software version. This process is outlined in How To: Retest of New Software for a Device Already Tested,
To Copy from one Carrier to Another Carrier
This process is mainly used by NA and EU to copy their results to another region.
- From the IOP Dashboard, select Devices.
- Select IOP Device Testing Results.
- At the bottom, change Display # to ALL.
- Filter the list by the carrier would like to copy FROM.
- If all the desired devices are recently tested, use the date range to further filter the list.
- Once you have selected the devices to copy by clicking the check boxes in front of each, click "Copy Results" at the top right.
- In the dropdown, select Copy by Carrier.
- Click Next Step.
- Select the carrier to copy TO in the dropdown. Once the carrier is selected, if that new combination of device/module/carrier does not already exist in the database, the indicator light will turn green. If any of them remain red, that device/module/carrier combination already exists.
- The newly created device/carrier/module combinations will appear on the "In Process" tab and can now be moved to "OK to Publish" if no further updates are necessary.
- Repeat this process for all regions to copy TO.
